2019 is expected to be a very successful year for the sport of wrestling and Black Hills areas as well. Following the Black Hills Nationals Wrestling Tournament is a skills development camp series. For 25 years, many National College All Americans have been part of these camps in the Black Hills, helping further education and strengthen the futures of youth wrestlers. More information will be posted to the website later in the year!

Participants. This iconic Midwestern tournament converges hundreds of wrestling fans and followers from over 17 states nationwide. This event reaches out to competitors of all ages from 6 and under, to an Adult Masters Division for ages 30 and over. Simply, Black Hills Nationals creates an environment for all who strive to strengthen and support the art of wrestling. An average of over 600 participants compete each year.

Officiating. 16 quality referees from 5 different states will be mat officials.

Important: Wrestlers can double-bracket. However, the wrestler needs to register twice, and make note of the fact that they’re wrestling in two separate brackets.

Tournament Location: Each year, the Black Hills Nationals tournament is held at the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center on the campus of Black Hills State University.
